The intensive courses, which comprise of a block of lessons at the same time each day, are designed to fast track learners’ skills in a short time.
The courses are specifically designed to help learners make rapid progress and master specific swimming skills fast. Crash courses are available in our fantastic pools at Feltonfleet School in Cobham and Latchmere School in Kingston upon Thames and can be booked on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis.
Who are our swimming crash courses for?
Our school holiday crash courses are for children aged from around 3 years and up and cater for all learners regardless of skill level. Whether it’s mastering the basics for absolute beginners or developing specific strokes or skills for intermediate or advanced swimmers, the intensive nature of the lessons means that your child will learn new skills quickly whilst getting active and having fun in the school holidays.
How long do swimming crash course lessons last?
The 30-minute lesson slots run from early in the morning to around midday. Once booked on a course, every learner’s lesson will take place at the same time each day.

Lessons are booked as a four-day block, usually starting on a Monday unless there is a bank holiday, when they start on the Tuesday.

Our intensive swimming courses in Cobham take place at Feltonfleet School. The 15 x 7.5 metre pool is heated to 32°C and has diving blocks and racing lanes as well as submersible platforms for younger learners.
With a metre-deep shallow end and 2.19 metre deep end, the pool is perfect for all skill levels. There are spacious male and female changing rooms conveniently close to the pool area and parking is easy, with ample space available in the car park opposite the swimming pool complex.
Swimming crash courses at Latchmere School Kingston upon Thames
Our intensive swimming lessons in Kingston upon Thames take place at Latchmere School.
The school’s large indoor pool is heated to 31 degrees and is 15m x 5m in size and 0.9 metres deep throughout. There are changing rooms and parking is easy, with ample parking close by.

Easter 2023 Latchmere School
Four-day intensive swimming course in Kingston upon Thames
GoggleSquad’s intensive swimming crash courses will be running at Latchmere School during the Easter school holidays from 3-6 April 2023.
The courses, consisting of four half-hour sessions from Monday to Thursday in the first week of the Easter break, are perfect for children aged three and up who would benefit from some intensive tuition.
These classes can be booked on a ratio of 1:1 or 2:1 only.
Whether your child is a complete beginner or ready to progress, the small classes and expert teaching by former Team GB swimmer Nicola Ayers and experienced instructor Adam Messeder follow the Swim England Learn To Swim Framework .
The swimming pool is 15m x 5m and 0.9 metres deep throughout, heated to a warm 31 degrees. The venue has convenient parking, changing and shower facilities.

GoggleSquad was founded by former Great Britain swimmer and ASA Level 2 instructor Nicola Ayers. Nicola’s experience as a former Great Britain synchronised swimmer is key to her success as an instructor. Having spent her youth competing and training at the highest level, she has a thorough understanding of how the body moves and performs in the water, which when applied to teaching means she gets great results among all ages and abilities.

Young learners need lots of guidance and individual feedback, which is why we only offer one-to-one, and two-to-one sessions. Lesson are tailored to the needs of each learner to ensure we develop the fundamental skills required to become a competent and safe swimmer. This focussed approach gets results faster.
