GoggleSquad Swim School provides high quality swimming lessons for children in Kingston upon Thames.
Lessons take place on Saturdays and Sundays in Latchmere School’s 15 x 5-metre covered pool. The pool is heated to 31 degrees year-round and perfect for young learners aged from around 3 to aged 7.
As well as children’s lessons during term time, we also offer a programme of intensive courses during the school holidays.

1:1 and small group lessons
Our one-to-one and small group swimming lessons ensure learners get the time and attention they need. Lessons are tailored to meet learners’ needs so they can they develop the fundamental skills required to become a competent and safe swimmer. This focussed individualised approach to lessons gets great results.
School-age swimming lessons
We use the Swim England Learn To Swim Framework for school-aged children (stages 1-7).
With learners whose technique needs improving we will often go back to basics to ensure the fundamentals are in place before putting their stroke back together. For this age group we adopt an in and out of the water approach which offers a full 360 degree view of progress. In the pool the instructor can observe and correct a child in the moment whilst from the poolside they benefit from the bird’s eye view offered by an elevated vantage point.

Yes, there is a small, mixed changing room on the poolside with an an adjoining shower.

Yes, the pool is heated to 31 degrees.

Yes, one parent is welcome to observe the lesson and we allow 15 minutes between classes to address any questions you may have. Unfortunately due to the size of the pool area, we are unable to accommodate more than one adult per child.

If your child is not toilet trained, then a swimming nappy is definitely required.

Food and drink consumption is prohibited in the swimming pool area and changing rooms.

Swimsuits, towels, and goggles are recommended. We provide swim aids and everything else!
